Cirmcumstances change in life and for whatever reason, a partner dies, the retirement investment fails, searching for someone from the past, poor health or looking for a new opportunbity all present themselves as reasons for this mis-matched bunch of Brits to choose India and The Best Marigold Hotel to spend the next part of their lives. Upon arrival and the enthusiatic greeting from Soony, it's obvious the glossy brochure may have exaggerated the charms of the Marigold...but charm is in the eye of the beholder with many of the group embracing their new and vastly different surrounds whilst others just can't get the 'English' out of their system. A story of new beginnings transformed by their shared experiences and discovering that life and love can begin again when you let go of the past.
