The incredible true story of an American hero. It’s the early 1970s, and Ron Stallworth is the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a name for himself, Stallworth bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. The young detective soon recruits a more seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman, into the undercover investigation of a lifetime. Together, they team up to take down the extremist hate group as the organisation aims to sanitise its violent rhetoric to appeal to the mainstream.

"A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive" Leigh Paatsch Herald Sun

"Spike's back, so back. BlacKkKlansman is a brilliant satire, a trenchant political statement and a love/hate letter to America, warts and all." Paul Byrnes The Age

"Spike Lee's hellraiser about a black cop who infiltrated the KKK in the 1970s is also an incendiary indictment of our current Trump moment and one of the best films of the year. A cinema giant has found his voice again and the power to make it heard." ‐ Rolling Stone
