A gastronomic dilemma besets a 3 star chef who cooks in the traditional French style. Lagarde is compelled by the restaurant’s young and compulsive new CEO to 'move on' to the new wave of ‘molecular cuisine’ favoured by the Spanish. (A subtle dig at the use of gels and liwuid nitrogen ensues with the kitchen taking on the appearance of a chemistry lab). The evil CEO surreptitiously steals all of Lagarde’s under cooks to other venues and a talented, alas, impetuous chef is brought in to assist while Lagarde works on a new and innovative menu for the Spring season and the critics. To cut a very funny story short -Love, family, pride and passion become the ingredients for a cook off that will have the critics either eraptured or dismissive.
