Group Bookings

Group bookings are the ideal way for a social group to see movies cheaply or even make a fund raiser of the event. All you need is a minimum of 20 people and our special group rates apply (see ticket prices). To help us fit you in, all groups must pre book at least 48 hours in advance (with deposit) and pay in a single lump sum so that we can hold seats in a block for you, and make sure that you get our special rates. We will fit your group into one of our many time slots that will best work with your group, with one of the many films that we are showing at the time you come to visit. Functions

 

Over the years the Sun has been a very popular venue for birthday parties, both kids and us grown ups, Christmas parties, corporate functions, even weddings. We have a function room for some private space and a few drinks and food before or after a film in any of the four cinemas. If you can guarantee various numbers you can book a whole cinema for yourself. Our auditoriums range in size from 40 seats, the Lyric - 40 seats, the Trocaderro - 95 seats, the Barkly -195 seats, The Grand - 184 seats. We can even look after every detail, so you can relax and enjoy.

 

 

 

We can help you choose from a select range of of quality gourmet catering delights that will make the most of your evening. Everything from hot and cold nibblies, drinks, waiters, the washing up, and in fact nearly everything that you can think of will be looked after by our proffessional team. All you will need to do is sit back and enjoy the evening with your guests, just the way it should be.

 

 

 

Our new function room, The Lounge, is an ieal space for displays.

 

 

 

The function room that can hold up to 100 standing or 60 dining which ajoins our exclusive 40 seat theatrette, The Lyric. Have your next event with us and then stroll into the Lyric for your own private screening of a film of your choice, or one of the many films that we are currently screening, your guests will be amazed at your good taste!
